This year is going very fast and as we come into the summer, there are many eyecare marketing events and opportunities to engage and educate your patients.
1.) May and June are huge gift months, due to Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Graduations. Dust off those Gift Certificates, pair them with some fun sunglasses, readers and accessories. Think about gift wrapping up a few items and leaving one open. That way you are presenting your easy ‘Gift In A Box’
2.) June is the top wedding month, bridal showers are bounding, brides are looking for gift. Again, make your Gift Certificates shine with gold and silver. Network with bridal boutique, wedding venues and noone can seem to live without the Wedding Planner. (See post on Weddings and Wedding Display Ideas)
3.) June, July and August are the Top Vacation Months. Set Up The Travel in a Box Display. Include Sunglasses and or Fitovers, back up glasses or readers, back up contact lens, contact lens solutions, eyewear retainers, eyeglass cleaners, eyeglass repair kit. Use cute eyeglass cases to store the accessories in. Put the solutions, the repair kit, the cleaner into a large eyeglass case and sell as a package. 4.) Start Preparing for Back To School in July as many schools start as early as end of July. Back to School is not just for kids, remember those college students. As a reminder, ObamaCare has kids getting FREE eye exams.
