Balius enters the role with a strong commitment to maintaining the tradition of providing the industry with engaging and cutting-edge content and education to keep doctors up-to-date in all aspects of the optometry business, from treatments and new protocols to technologies, business best practices in marketing and office management.

He looks to empower SECO attendees with the knowledge and tools they need to meet varying business challenges. MedPRO60, is one such program that he is highly supportive of, as it offers high-level business management programs with topics that cater not only to optometrists but to any healthcare practitioner. MedPRO360 offers sessions that provide support to assess the financial health of a practice, provide tools for benchmarking, and lends guidance with legal and human resources related issues.
