Safilo is proud to welcome customers and show attendees from all over the globe to this year’s edition of Vision Expo East, the largest eyewear trade show in the United States, from Friday, March 22nd – Sunday, March 24th.
Safilo is excited to unveil a sophisticated, high-tech environment at this year’s show with an exclusive, newly designed booth (#2749). Measuring 80 x 100 square feet, the cutting-edge space is where digital tech merges with the real world and where the Group’s newest products for Spring/Summer 2019 will be showcased. The innovative new look will entice guests to enter and be immediately transported, by brand, to another place and time – embraced by a mix of sounds, moods and moving images – with dedicated hosts guiding customers to and through each brand experience. Highlighted collections stationed throughout the booth include the Group’s core owned brand, Carrera, BOSS (complete with an interactive golf VR simulator station), Kate Spade New York, Tommy Hilfiger and the highly anticipated SS19 launch Rebecca Minkoff collection, featuring the brand’s first-ever optical assortment.
Safilo Stage, a compelling new booth element, will offer a variety of educational programming for ECPs on Friday and Saturday where professional speakers will share their knowledge and experience about the eyewear business with talks from Trudi Charest, co-founder of 4ECPs and Jason Wellman, 4ECPs’ Vice President of Strategic Growth, along with ABOC Optician and ABO Speaker Robin Brush. A new dedicated order writing area stationed apart from foot traffic serves as another welcome booth enhancement, providing a more exclusive and conducive sales environment for customers and sales representatives to work together. The company will also present a variety of interactive digital media solution services for the exam room, waiting room and optical retail.
