A site that shows up frequently on page 1 of google is Quora. Quora is a question-and-answer website where questions are created, answered, edited and organized by its community of users. The company was founded in June 2009, and the website was made available to the public on June 21, 2010. Quora aggregates questions and answers to topics.
To date there 4,400 questions about glasses and eyewear. That gives eyecare professionals over 4,000 posts-ideas-solutions to put on a blog, on their website and or on Facebook. That doesn’t count sunglasses, eye health, contact lenses and the myriad of other topics that effect eyecare professionals.

Why I find these sites interesting…because the consumer wants to know, the amount of testamonials and misinformation they may give out to consumers. Most of all, is this an opportunity for eye care professionals?
Anyone can participate in answers to the questions, in fact it might be a good thing if more optical professionals did participate.
