If you miss out on August 9, There  is still Library Card Sign up Month (September) Banned Books Week (September 21-27) Teen Read Week (Oct 12-18) Picture Book Month (November)

Nothing shows off the vintage look with old books. Pick them up for for almost free at any garage sale, borrow from Little Free Libraries (see post Little Free Library)
