Freebie Friday: Put That In Your Pocket

Every day there seems to be new social media networks to participate in and apps and websites that try and make things easier. Some are pocketgreat fun; some are more of a pain than they are worth. One of the apps that we have been very impressed with and find those who use it are using more and more is Pocket ( . Pocket is both a website and an app available for all major mobile devices. Pocket has been integrated into over 500 applications as well, from Flipboard to Twitter.

Pocket allows the user to save an article or link to their own private page within the website to read at a later date. Every morning while reading during breakfast, I find an article or two worth reading more in depth. I press the Save to Pocket option and in half a second that article or link is waiting for me to read at my convenience.

Pocket is also available as an extension for every browser but Internet Explorer (another reason to switch  from IE). Check out Pocket for yourself…I will happily say it is the best FREE app we used in 2013.
