For the third consecutive year, ClearVision Optical has been named one of 2017’s Best Companies to Work for in New York State.
Created ten years ago, these annual awards recognize the best employers in the state of New York. To be considered for participation, ClearVision had to fulfill specific eligibility requirements and then complete a two-part survey.
ClearVision will be honored at a public awards dinner in Albany this April, during which the company will learn its rank among 46 companies in the category for small/medium sized employers with 15 to 249 U.S. employees.
“It is a tremendous honor to be named a Best Company for the third year in a row,” says ClearVision Senior Talent Leader Jennifer Trakhtenberg. “The recognition is meaningful, as it is determined based on our employees’ survey responses about their positive work experience. For the second consecutive year, ClearVision Optical received a Regional Economic Development Council Award from the New York State Department of Labor to support the company’s training and customer service efforts.
Made on behalf of the Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s Regional Economic Development Councils and Consolidated Funding Application, these awards were given in 10 regional councils in New York State. ClearVision is one of 101 Long Island projects to receive funding. Sixty-two million dollars in funding was awarded to the Long Island projects.
ClearVision will partner with Stony Brook University to offer training to its employees throughout the organization. The various training topics will include:
- Process improvement
- Customer first culture
- Supervisory effectiveness
- Introduction to continuous improvement
