We are into Earth Month and nothing says you want to green and save than by your merchandising. Why not celebrate Earth Day and Month with some eco friendly displays? For more ideas see our posts: Luggage, Bottles, Picture Frames, These DIY’s are all up cycled,
Cardboard tubes are free. You can paint them, adorn them, glue sparkle and ribbons on, modpodge or just leave plain.
One of the most common cardboard tubes are the ones you see every day. These are toilet paper rolls, sliced up. Paint in red, white and blue for 4th of July.
Egg Cartons are made from recycled paper. Love this store display made from egg cartons.
Corregated cardboard display in a monochromatic look. Go Green!
Crushed Paper and even origami prints made from leftover wall paper and wrapping paper makes an attractive display.
Set up an retro vibe with old books. Even old yellow pages would work on this type of display.
Need color, all they did here was lay out some books and showcase eyewear.
Got tons of books? Check out this optometrist window.
No books, take a magazine or a book and fold over the pages to make show-stopping look.
Feeling a little DIYish? A block of wood, 2 sticks and some string, make up this washboard look.
Eyecharts, books and clothespins.
Clothespins can be used solo. You probably have a bag around, the best part, you can alway reuse.
Clothespin people, I think we all learned to do this in kindergarten. Again, doesn’t have to be just people, paint, glitter.. all make a cute fashion statement.
I like this display. It would be fun, to have something like this with all your personal eyewear to show off in the office. Put your name on them and show your patients the value of multiple pairs.
A while ago we did a series of post on merchandising from thing around the house. Vases, bowls, cups and plates made an attractive and colorful look. Remember, these all go right back home with you.
You may have an old bike in the garage. It is very easy to take the wheels off and reuse them in a fun display. Why not put up a series of bike wheels and display sports eyewear?
Does this look familiar? It is most likely all through your house. PVC piping, painted in pastels, used as vases. On another note, you don’t even have to do the flowers, drape some accessories and eyewear and you have a very cute and reusable eyewear and accessory display.
They always say, you can use everything but the kitchen sink.. lets try a bathroom sink. Isn’t this the cutest ever?
