How Do You Live Your Vision?

Transitions Lenses always has something fun going on so we want to tell you about the latest competition. Here is the information:

How Do You Live Your Vision? by Rose Wallace, Marketing Manager, Channel Marketing, Transitions

Healthy vision is essential in so many aspects of life, from completing everyday tasks to achieving your most important goals – whether it be optimal performance at work, on an athletic field or simply enjoying a summer picnic with a friend or loved one.

Reinforcing the importance of healthy sight, Transitions wants you and your patients to show how you “Live Your Vision” through our newest national promotion – and have the chance to win cash prizes to help you reach your goals.
Now through Oct. 31, you and your patients can enter the contest by uploading a photo and caption to www.Transitions.com/liveyourvision that exemplifies how you live your vision in your professional or personal lives.
This program should encourage consumers to think about how important their vision is and ultimately talk to their eyecare professional about ways to protect and keep eye sight healthy.
Online voting will determine the top15 entries in both consumer and eyecare professional categories, which will move on to the judging phase. The judges, who include National Geographic photographer Steve Winter, will select one grand prize winner and four finalists in each category.
Entries will be based on the photo’s demonstration of how entrants “lives their vision” rather than on the basis of photo quality alone. Grand prize winners will receive a $10,000 prize, and will designate a charity of their choice to receive a $10,000 donation from Transitions Optical, and finalists will receive $1,000.
Research confirms that most people consider consider eyesight their most treasured sense, because of this, we hope to see a multitude of creative and passionate entries from both eyecare professionals and consumers.
