Some time ago I recommended getting a Kindle for those of you optical vision site eyereaders that do a lot of travel. By then my Kindle was pretty old, I still love it even now, but just bought a new one for a nephew posted in Afghanistan. As most of you probably know that this kind of military posting is about 95% boredom and 5% terror. So some family members and I decided to get him a Kindle loaded with lots of books.
When the new Kindle arrived I wanted to keep the new one as it has so many improvements including:
- a USB connection for the computer
- clearer screen
- more user friendly navigation buttons
- easier to hold without hitting the page forward button
- sleeker and more sturdy
My favorite discovery is that you can get several Kindles on one Amazon account and all the books load in each Kindle automatically but you can delete any you don’t want on your personal Kindle. This is a very opti-fun gift to get someone if you are looking for gift ideas .
Thank you to Denise Solay Designs for sponsoring this opti-fun post (now if only she could design a necklace to keep it close by)
