Google Analytics is a free tool, that all you have to do is insert a little code in your website or blog and voila, you will know exactly how much traffic your are getting, where people click, and where your hits are coming from. We know exactly how many hits we get from FaceBook and Twitter and our other links.

SEO Tools also has a toolbar, a keyword search, SEO for FireFox and a free Rank checker if you are using Firefox.

Yahoo Analytics also free. To find out how they work, there is a video on the site.

Using these tools will help you ‘tweek ‘your site in order to come up higher in the search engines, provide content that is relevant to your readers, expand your reach and offer products and services that the consumer is asking for.

It takes about 3 minutes to cut and paste the codes into your site. If you are nervous about doing looking at all that code, you can do what we did- gave it to our IT person to do. If you don’t have an IT person, we can recommend a few people who can do this for a reasonable price.
