Promoting Eyecare On YouTube-Fun Pink Glove Dance

There are 3 things about this video I love 1.) It’s a fun way to promote a cause 2.) If I ever buy gloves, I will buy pink gloves from Mediline and 3.) I want to go to St. Vincents Hospital just to tell the staff how great they are! What did this video do for me? It made pink gloves interesting and fun, it brought an awareness of Breast Cancer, it engaged me (I watched it 3x), I passed it on to 40 people, and now I posted it and it humanized the staff at St. Vincents. What a great word of mouth referral!

Is YouTube a viable way to market your eyecare office? On Nov. 9, 2009 , 1,000,041,901 videos were watched!

What a hassle you may say, although this hassle for a few minutes of your time can bring in patients. If you are not a techie, try a company like eyecarevideo, who produces videos for the optical professional. Want something artistic? Try going to your local school or college and find that aspiring filmmaker to produce a custom video for you- Not by a school, try Craigslist under Video’s and TV.
