A while ago, Bob Main wrote a post on Tumblr. I thought I would share some of my favorite Tumblr Sites, that would also be good for the Eye Care Provider. I have only included sites that are posting something at least 2x per week. I have *** a few themes or concepts that would be good for eyecare, using a mixture of quotes and fashion updates.

Retailers With Eyewear Tumblr
Glasses World- My favorite eyeglass site. Japanese Based also on Facebook. Anything that has eyewear on including runway, vintage and even animals. it gets blogged on Tumblr.
Udonn: Another one of my Favorites. All about people wearing eyewear, whether on the street or in campaigns.
***Gogosha Optique: Los Angeles optical boutique.
From Vetusta With Love: Lots of eyewear, mainly vintage.
Grandeur Vision: Eyewear Stylist. Lots of street scenes and images from magazines.
Bang Eyewear: More of a Hipster Site, with images from wacky eyewear to the Olsen Twins, to Lady Gaga.
Vintage Eyewear: Retail site, with Vintage eyewear images and old pics, interpersed with eyewear from the 1940′s
Horn Rimmed Glasses- Tumblr site is dedicated to ‘classical Horn-rimmed style of eyeglasses and all its variants and its wearers.’ The concept is Ok on this site, hard to read and no archive so you have to keep clicking. Lots of vintage horn rimmed (retro) old celebrities shots.
Fresh Spex: Mixture of fashion and eyewear
Oh my Glasses- A little more unusual, seems to have more unstaged street scenes, Eyeglass quotess, lots of movie eyewear, celebrities old and new. . This would be great except they havent bloggged anything since Oct. 2011.
The Eyewear Addiction- A girl eyewear addiction on tumblr.
***Eye Dinity. Frame shape guide. Lots of quotes and information. This would be a nice retail concept blog for eyecare professionals.

Midwest Shades: Lower price eyewear
Because EyeWear It: Uk based eyewear fanatic. Street scenes, some celebrity posts.
Eyewear Diary: She also has a great blog. From Brazil, mainly deals with Luxottica and Safilo branded eyewear designer products.
Wholesalers With Eyewear Tumblr
ZanZan: Eyewear wholesale and Retail from the UK. A little of everything. Some vintage, some runway, some unusual, a few celebrities.
SpexAddict: Louis Fullgar from Bevel tumbles his pics and various eyewear designs.
***Best Image’s Eye Styles Tumbles Every Tuesday with a Tumblr Tuesday post, mixing fashion trends with their eyewear.
