The new hot trend for guys in the UK monocles. A report from Mega Team Blogs:
In fact, UK’s biggest eyewear chain, Vision Express, has reportedly begun offering off-the-shelf monocles after receiving an overwhelming number of orders. Such an event surprisingly happens after years (or centuries?) of seeing the one-eyed specs as a fashion suicide item.
“To our surprise we’ve had dozens of requests from customers in the last few months, so we thought we’d bring back the monocle on a trial basis,” Bryan Magrath, Vision Express’ chief officer told UK Telegraph. “We’re as puzzled as anyone by the interest, but we’re a responsive retailer and we are delivering.”
The trendy eyewear is initially distributed in stores in London, but Magrath said that if the fad will continuously rise, the one-piece lenses will find their way in all Vision Express outlets nationwide. Items have a tag price of £50 ($80). They are cut in modern style—the lens is rimmed by a metal frame tied to a string from which the piece may dangle.

You may also want to add Berkshire Chase to your list of suppliers.
It wouldn’t be hard at all for a good optician to make these. A peice of gold filled eyewire, a jump ring, barrels and screw to close it. Most are 38mm diameter.
