Once again, ClearVision is proud to sponsor our Museum Way art exhibit.
The current exhibit, “Shuttering West” is the work of photographer Hannah Rae Hegnauer. Proceeds from this exhibit will benefit Pride for Youth. ClearVision is happy to underwrite this exhibit, and 100% of the proceeds generated from the sale of the artwork will be donated to charity. Our goal is to raise $4,000.
About the artist:
Hannah studied photography at The Art Institute of Seattle. After completing her photography studies, Hannah went on to study graphic design, literature, and creative writing. Currently, Hannah works as a book designer for several prestigious firms in New York. In her spare time, she enjoys the opportunity photographing the East Coast of the United States.
Her photographs have been featured in Anne Waldman’s book Outrider (La Alameda Press, 2006), and on the cover of the Meridian literary journal (2006).
Hannah explains her inspiration for the Shuttering West exhibit, “I lived in Colorado and Washington almost my whole life, and have often traveled amongst the two. My photographs are brief pauses in these places. I am attracted to scenes that do not immediately call attention to themselves. These are the luminal places where natural possibilities can exist without provocation.”
About Pride for Youth:
Proceeds from this exhibit will benefit Pride for Youth, a not-for-profit organization. Part of the Long Island Crisis Center, Pride for Youth is an organization that offers support, counseling, and education for teens struggling with their gender and sexuality. How to order:
To place an order for any of the prints in the “Shuttering West” collection, simply fill out the attached order form and fax or mail it back to us by July 15. You can also attach completed form to your email and send it to me at: blitzky@cvoptical.com. Your prints will be printed on stretched canvas, ready for framing.
