USA Today‘s Fashion editors say the 80′s are coming back. Does that mean that if the 80′s are back – big eyeglasses too? Reporting from the Marc Jacobs’ New York Fall 2009 Fashion Show. I went to Style.com‘s website and got confirmation. They say “a gloriously trashy eighties revival”. Style.com also talks about a “geometric construction” trend which could suggest we will be seeing bigger frames and more geometric styles. So lens companies, keep those big lens diameters, the 80′s are back – big eyeglasses are back. Maybe, we will see! I did a post on this a while back in the Lenses category. Don’t forget about utilizing those aspheric lens designs in bigger frames.
