True confessions- I didn’t really know how important a tonometer was until I spoke with Roman Iospa of Bicom which produces the Diaton Tonometer. . (It is the procedure of eye care professionals to determine intraocular  fluid pressure (IOP) in the eye and is extremely important in the evaluation of patients with glaucoma- which means every eye doc should have a tonometer. 

In my mind, I am visualizing these big old machine, where in reality the Diaton Tonometer is a small little device that uses no eye drops and doesn’t even touch the cornea.  Which makes it a ‘Eco Friendly’ Device (less packaging)
