At the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, Kate Hudson, noted actress wore Cartier diamond jewelry including a diamond waterfall down her back! Once again setting new fashion trends. Denise Solay, ahead of her time, introduced her Monkey On Your Back Eyewear Jewelry way back in early 2009. The only difference, Monkey On Your Back dual purposes as eyeglass holders. A very sexy way for a women to dress up and accessorize her dress and eyewear for any type of event.
Personally, I love the concept of a beautiful piece of jewelry down the back, especially if it has a dual purpose. There is nothing worse when you are dressed up, the eyewear doesn’t match and you can’t read. We women end up fumbling around in our purses for a pair of glasses, taking them on and off, leaving them behind (I think I have lost about 5 pair of sunglasses that way) just for the sake of vanity! Worse yet, we carry around one of those small purses which are large enough for a lipstick, so where do you put your eyeglasses? I don’t know about you, but when I go out, my necessities: sunglasses, eyeglasses, lipstick, business cards, wallet, keys, flashlight, cleaning cloth, pens. (I have eliminated 2 pair of glasses to 1 because I got the imbedded magnetic clip ons that Eyenovate and Santinelli developed) But still it’s a hassle with a small purse.
The other thing I really like about the Monkey on the Back- it’s a talk factor. The clothing may be old, but everyone will talk about the Monkey. A wearer is sure to get compliments and compliments mean referral business. We all need referral business.
How to sell? Enlarge the Picture of Kate Hudson, put it in a plastic frame and drape a Monkey On Your Back, with eyewear, around the picture and you can be sure you will get your patients trying The Monkey on. We like it!
